AID FOR AIDS WALKS IN 2012 FOR A WORLD WITHOUT A TRACE OF HIV

AID FOR AIDS International is officially announcing the launch of its AIDS WALK campaign for 2012. After such a successful walk in 2011, our team is joining again the AIDS WALK New York with the announcement of its theme for 2012: “We Walk For A World Without A Trace of HIV.” This year’s theme not only reflects our hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow, but also our sustaining belief in the power of committed individuals to change their world.

This year’s walk, our first major fundraising event of the year, will take place on Sunday, May 20 but registration with our team starts today by signing up here.

Last year, AID FOR AIDS joined the walk under the banner of “iWalk, iDeliverLife” with more than 100 friends and supporters who walked the 6.2 miles with us, and far surpassing our fundraising goal. We’d love to see even more of you turn out this year to experience an amazing day of inspiration and positive vibrations.

AIDS Walk New York, now in its 27th year, is the world’s largest single AIDS fundraiser. More than 47,000 walkers and several thousand volunteers last year raised $6 million to benefit dozens of AIDS services organizations in the tri-state area. Nationally, the AIDS Walk movement to date has generated more than $500 million for the cause.
