More than a just a collection of gifts, annual giving is a catalyst for turning individual generosity into a collective energy. It represents the dynamic interaction of people working together to achieve great things in the fight against HIV and AIDS in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Since 1997, gifts from concerned, caring people have allowed AID FOR AIDS International (AFAI) to cultivate the largest HIV medication recycling program in the world, and offer comprehensive programs to empower people living with HIV and AIDS in developing countries.
AFAI is launching an annual giving program to raise additional unrestricted operating resources and bring much needed attention to the Latin American and Caribbean region, an area often overlooked by other giving campaigns. These gifts will enable AFAI to expand existing programs, implement innovative prevention campaigns, and successfully navigate the fight against stigma and discrimination.
AFAI invites you to join us on our mission. By participating in the Fund for THE AMERICAS, you will make a difference in the lives of individuals living with HIV and AIDS in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). Thank you.
Here are just a few examples of how your generous contribution can greatly assist our services:
Express your personal commitment to the fight against HIV and AIDS in the Caribbean, Central and South America and encourage the generosity of others through your example.
All members of the Fund for THE AMERICAS will be acknowledged each year in our Annual Report, The Fund for THE AMERICAS page on our website and listed in our Annual My Hero Gala Journal.
