AID FOR AIDS International would like to thank Air Europa for its support of our medication recycling program in Latin America and the Caribbean. Air Europa, which is part of the Globalia tourist group based in Spain, has joined AFAI in promoting the “Leaving A Footprint, For a World Without a Trace of HIV” campaign, through a video spot of the campaign on all its flights and a full-page ad in its in-flight print magazine. We are proud to have Air Europa as a partner in our effort to save lives one by one.

Manhattan Mini Storage
It is a basic law of nature that stuff expands to fill the available space. Anybody who has ever moved into a larger apartment knows that no matter how much more room you have, there’s still too much stuff to cram into it. Manhattan Mini-Storage has joined the number of supporters of AID FOR AIDS International with a much-needed donation of 100 square feet of storage space to accommodate items that we cannot fit into our offices. Much of the material that we have gathered over the years in action has increased significantly. As we have relocated, the space at our offices proved insufficient to store all these essentials. This donation greatly alleviates our working and storage space at our busy Medicine Recycling room. We thank our friends at Manhattan Mini-Storage for their contribution to our cause. Manhattan Mini-Storage, with 17 locations around the city, currently provides storage solutions to 200,000 New Yorkers. In addition to space, the company offers packing and moving services, and all its locations are open 24 hours a day.

Through this partnership, ZIPCAR vehicles will now become the medium for transportation of the thousands of life-saving medications we collect within the United States greatly benefiting our Recycling Program which delivers this medicine in more than 35 countries.
