NYIAL’S MSM support group welcomes guest speaker, Margaret Garrett
NYIAL’S Spanish-speaking support group for men who have sex with men (MSM) welcomed guest speaker, Margaret Garrett, in one of their sessions this month. Ms. Garrett, a paralegal from the Legal Aid Society’s Immigration Law Unit, spoke to group members on the current immigration laws, updating members on immigration news and their immigration options.
This particular group session was attended by 10 members and was delivered in a question and answer format.
NYIAL’S MSM support group meets twice a month at AFA’s offices in downtown Manhattan. The group provides MSM living with HIV and AIDS a safe place to discuss relevant issues and experiences, while receiving support from their peers.
