AID FOR AIDS Promotes Sustainability and Good Hygiene in Education
Over the past year, AID FOR AIDS Panama had been working with the Panamanian Ministry of Education and UNESCO on the development of an educational guide to promote sustainability, good hygiene and health practices in school and educational environments. We’re proud to announce that the guide has already been published and is currently being used as complementary reading material within the basic and elementary schools’ curriculum in the country.
Besides defining the importance of sustainable development, the guide proposes dynamic activities for teachers to promote health responsibility among children, conscious use of water and natural resources as well as the role of new generations in the response to climate change.
AID FOR AIDS is once again thrilled to demonstrate the relevance and reach of its expertise, as well as the potential of our education and training programs to address topics beyond HIV education and prevention.
