AID FOR LIFE, FUNDAVENYC and A Letter Saves a Life join forces to continue helping the new migrant community in NYC
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between these three non-profit organizations to continue helping newly arrived asylum seekers in New York.
FUNDAVENYC is a non-profit organization dedicated to carry out social work activities for the Spanish-speaking community residing in New York City, where they provide assistance about the affordable housing program.
A Letter Saves a Life is an aid network who offers help, guidance and accommodation to those who have been freed after being detained by ICE. This to help them face an unknown country with an unknown language.
AID FOR LIFE is committed to generating a social impact and improving the lives of people at risk of social vulnerability. In NYC, since July 2022, AID FOR LIFE has assisted over 7,000 newly arrived asylum seekers, providing information related to health, housing and legal services, in addition to clothes and culturally appropriate hot meals.
These three organizations work towards the same goal: assisting the newly arrived asylum seekers, who come from South and Central America looking for a better quality of life for them and their families.
