AID FOR LIFE holds its last jornada of the year and delivers toys to migrant children
Last Saturday, December 17, AID FOR LIFE held its last jornada of the year, giving coats, toys and hot meals to recently arrived asylum seekers in NYC.
It took place at PS 20 Anna Silver in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, serving almost 400 people. In 2022, we were able to support more than 3,000 people, lending a helping hand with information about health, housing and immigration services, and delivering clothes and shoes to this population, who throughout their journey lost everything they had.
We hope to count on you in 2023, to keep supporting this new community in New York City. For donations, click here.
