AID FOR AIDS and AID FOR LIFE participated in the Conference Futuro Venezuela
On Saturday, April 15, Jesús Aguais, president of AID FOR AIDS and AID FOR LIFE, participated in the Conference Futuro Venezuela.
It was organized by students from the universities of Columbia, Yale, Pennsylvania, Cornell and The Cooper Union; and took place at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
Among the conference panels was the discussion on the Complex Humanitarian Emergency and the Venezuelan Migration Crisis. Three, we talked about the beginnings of AID FOR AIDS and AID FOR LIFE, the services we have offered throughout our history and how our 26-year experience has allowed us to approach the current immigration crisis in NYC from the point of view of human rights, integration and empathy.
In addition, there were panels dedicated to economics, arts and energy issues.
